Is it Worth Buying a Condo In Pattaya Today?

Unlike the big boom before 1997, the market is driven by people looking for somewhere to live or a vacation home. Although prices are rising, they are keeping pace with economic conditions and  other factors.

Investors can realize a 25-35%  return within 12-15 months on pre construction properties (with the right location). Plus there is no property tax in Thailand and closing costs are minimal.

Now with the New International Airport open, the Sky Train will be extended to Pattaya soon, cutting travel time to a mere 20 to 30 minutes, drive time will be 40-60 minutes.

Pattaya City has improved access roads to the east of Sukhumvit road. Soi Buakao has been given a brand new concrete road. Third road is about to get a facelift. They are burying utility cables along beach road. And plans are underway to extend the Chonburi motorway all the way to Rayong, with an easy access road that should take you direct to the heart of Pattaya City.

Pattaya is slowly upgrading in an effort to capture more upscale visitors. They are taking their time and making sure they do it right. I see a bright future for Pattaya so buying there now is an investment for the future.
